Einar Aas was Ski Butternut's Snowsports School Director for 43 years before his passing in July of 2008.

You SAVE $40 when you BUY a book of five group ski or snowboard lesson vouchers. Vouchers are valid any day this winter. Purchase your Group Lesson 5-Pack at the Ski School desk in the Lower Lodge or at the Main Office.
Group Lessons for ages 14+ years of age start at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm daily.

Another option is our highly discounted All Mountain Lift, Lesson and Rental packages available for both adults and kids.

Ski Butternut does offer a Monday - Friday Morning 1/2-Day Adventurers and miniRIDER program.
RESERVATIONS for the Adventurers and the miniRIDER programs are strongly encouraged 7 days a week.

GROUP LESSONS:

Lessons are available for skiers and snowboarders of any ability level. Everyone taking a lessons needs a lift ticket
Individuals wanting group lessons, and needing to rent equipment should purchase their lift tickets, rental equipment and lesson vouchers as a discounted package in the Rental Building. We offer money saving packages that include your lift ticket, a group lesson voucher and rental equipment.
If you have your own equipment you should visit the Ski School Desk in the Lower Lodge (Clubhouse) to purchase your lift pass and lesson voucher.
Group ski lessons are available for guests ages 4 years of age and older.
1st Timer Snowboarding lessons are available for ages 7+ years of age. Younger snowboarders, ages 4 and up who already know how to ride can also take group lessons to enhance their skills.
Lesson classes gather at the base of the beginner hill just outside the rental shop.
Group Lessons start at: 10:30 and 2:00 p.m. daily for everyone ages 4 years and older.Group lessons last 1.5 hours (when 3 or more students are in the class). Group lessons will last only 1 hour (when only 1 or 2 students are in the class)
