INTERCLUB RACE PROGRAM

This all-day program introduces young skiers (ages 14 & under) to alpine racing. Coaches will help develop good fundamental skiing skills, while introducing both the mental and physical elements of racing, eventually preparing these children for slalom & giant slalom races.

The kids will have the opportunity to compete in Interclub races against other ski teams in the Berkshires. These races will give the kids a chance to experience and refine their newly developed skills in a competitive race environment.

The program STARTS on December 26th with the Christmas week race camp, and then continues every Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 to 11:00 and 12:30 to 2:30, ending Sunday February 25th.

After a year or two in Interclub, participants with lots of drive and motivation will likely choose to move on to our more competitive Tri-State racing program.

Participants in this program must be able to ski parallel on intermediate terrain and ride all lifts independently, or on their own.
