OUR COACHING STAFF:
Ski Butternut's Ski & Snowboard School is a member of the prestigious Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors(AASI).
Our Racing and Coaching staff members are trained through programs and clinics offered by PSIA, AASI and the United States Ski Coaches Association (USSCA).
Leading our ski racing staff are:
Raymond DeVerry (PSIA Examiner, Skiing and Snowboarding), and an extremely experienced racer.

RACER HIGHLIGHTS FROM 05-06
Graham Quisenberry (JIV racer), a 6th-grade student from Connecticut, Graham won the slalom and came in 2nd in the giant slalom. He placed 2nd overall at the JIV Championships. Graham also qualified for the JIV shootout at the Sugarbush ski resort in Vermont (this event determines the east-coast representatives to the Whistler Cup, an international giant slalom ski race featuring the top junior competitors from all over the world). The JIV Ski Championships feature the top 11 and 12-year-old racers from Massachusetts, Connecticut, & Rhode Island.
Chris Judge (JIII racer), is a 9th grader in Wilton, Connecticut. He won the giant slalom and took 4th in the slalom, placing 2nd overall at the TriState JIII Championships. The JIII championships feature the top 14 and 15-year-old ski racers from Massachusetts, Connecticut, & Rhode Island. Chris, who qualified for the Junior Olympics at Whiteface in NY, also the top skier on his high school ski team, placing 12th overall at the Connecticut Intersholastic Ski League Championships.
