Rental Shop open for returns Mon. - Fri. 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
On weekends season rentals can be dropped off at AdventureUS 276 Main St. Great Barrington, MA

At Ski Butternut, unlike other mountains, snowboards, shaped skis, ski boards & snowblades all rent for the same low price every day. We don't charge a premium for snowboards, or for using equipment on a weekend or holiday. Same price every day! SAVE TIME over Christmas, MLK & President's Week with Multi Day Ski or Snowboard Rentals! Tell the rental cashier that you want to keep your Ski or Snowboard rental equipment for 2 , 3, 4 or 5 days. Pay for it all at one time and you'll avoid the daily rental line. At the end of the day, store your skis or snowboard in your trunk, but remember to take your boots inside your condo or hotel room,so they're warm and toasty in the morning (please understand this convenience is for consecutive day rentals). There are no discounts or refunds). Save even more time by picking up your Weekend or Holiday ski or snowboard rentals on the preceding Friday afternoon, between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT
Ski Butternut offers one of the largest and newest rental inventories in all of New England. We have over 2500 sets of shaped skis and over 300 snowboards, with boots to match. We also offer ski-boards, snowblades and helmets.

SKI BUTTERNUT HELMET POLICY - We recommend helmets for skiing and snowboarding participants. We encourage everyone, especially parents, to educate themselves about the benefits and limitations of helmet use. Ski Butternut supports individual and parental rights to choose whether to wear a helmet or not. We also promote responsible skiing and snowboarding behavior as the key to long term slope safety. Please learn and follow "Your Responsibility Code!"
Helmets are available for purchase in our Ski & Board Shop, as well as for daily rental in our rental shop (limited quantities are available). For more information on ski or snowboard helmets use and limitations, visit the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) web site http://www.lidsonkids.org

*Please bring your own ski boots & poles. 1st day demo cost can be applied toward a new ski or snowboard purchase. Ski Demos are available at the on mountain Demo Tent, just outside the Ski Butternut Lower Lodge and conveniently located near the Top Flight Quad Chairlift.

Ski Butternut strives to offer the highest quality and best maintained rental equipment in the Northeast.

Guests usually fill out the Ski or Snowboard RENTAL FORM in our rental building while at the ski mountain. IF YOU WILL NOT HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WITH YOU, you should print off our online form and have a parent fill in the form and sign it. Bring that signed copy with you when you visit the mountain. Please understand that you will still need to fill out our regular rental form at the mountain. This allows us to attach the form (with an adult signature) to the one you'll fill in at the mountain (we must have a signed release on file at Ski Butternut). For next winter be aware you can pick up your season rentals as early as November 12th.

Season-long ski or snowboard rentals are ideal for growing children, or for any individual that has a season's pass,and prefers renting their equipment, rather than purchasing new skis or snowboard equipment every couple of years.
