Everyday is RACE DAY with our automatically-timed ski race course.
The Main Street Race Course is served by our convenient Main Street Quad chairlift or is easily accessable with a short schuss down Pied Piper, a challenging green trail off the t of the mountain from the Top Flight Quad Chairlift.
On Weekends & over all Ski Butternut holiday periods our timed race course runs are only $1 - You pay at the start shack at the top of the course.
Ski or Snowboard Racing Runs are FREE midweek (excluding our holiday periods).
This fun, yet challenging race course (sometimes set as a dual course) is located adjacent to our Main Street slope. Runs through the course are available to anyone with a valid lift pass. Test your skill against a friend or our pacesetter. Racing is a skiing tradition and a highlight of the Winter Olympics. Give it a try - it's sure to get your heart pounding.
