It takes 3 to 4 days on snow to really get the feel for skiing or snowboarding. These FUN winter sports are certainly worth the investment. After mastering the basics of the sport you can plan to enjoy a lifetime of fun on the slopes. You're here because you just learned to Ski or Snowboard. The next time you as a 1st timer come back to Ski Butternut - Show the rental cashier your 1st Timers Lift Ticket (lift ticket will be marked 1st Timer - it must still be attached to your jacket - so don't remove it).
Each time the cashier sees that ticket they'll recognize you as a returning first time skier. Your a VIP to us! With that ticket you qualify to purchae our special
$70 - 1st Timers Return-to-Learn package. This extremely affordable package includes everything you need to keep progressing with your skiing or snowboarding.
(Package includes an all-mountain lift ticket, rental equipment and another group lesson (at level 1, 2 or 3). Lessons are fun, ennhance your safety and they help you continue to learn quickly.
The $70 - 1st Timers Return-to-Learn rate is only available when you show your specially marked 1st Timer lift ticket. Ticket must be from a visit made to Ski Butternut earlier this winter.
Learning to Ski or Snowboard (like any sport) takes time to build your confidence and become proficient. We encourage all beginners to go at least three to four times their first season. After just 3 visits you'll be skiing or snowboarding the mountain, smoothly linking turns & enjoying your time on snow!

At Ski Butternut, Learning Is Fun! Whether just learning to ski or aspiring to race, no matter your age or ability level, Butternut's learning programs are fun and informative.

Learning to Ski or Snowboard is easy with our affordable $70 1st Timers Learn-to-Ski or $70 Return-to-Ski packages.

This package includes a beginner area only lift pass for your 1st day, and then every other visit you make you get an all mountain lift pass with rentals and another lesson for just $70 each visit.

Ski Butternut Ski School Director Mark Goodman suggest that all 1st timers commit to at least going three to four times. Making the commitment to go multiple times is by far the best way to learn to ski or snowboard.

How good is the savings?
Example:

Weekend or holiday Adult lift tickets $55, + Rentals $35, + Lesson $35 = $125 the total cost for a single day.
